You have hit the nail on the head. Stay at home moms, as well as stay at home dads first priority is to focus on sharing quality time with their kids.

Most businesses have become more understanding when a parent must take off work when their child is sick.

However, there are still many employers who fail to provide enough sick days. If the employee has 1 or 2 little ones, they’ll need time off to nurse them back to health.

Plus the employee may end up getting sick which means he’ll also need to take a day off.

Working at home eliminates the apprehension that comes with calling in sick.

In the past stay at home moms were very common. Somewhere over the years women began working outside of the home to help subsidize the family income. Initially this was done on a part time basis, but eventually a full time income was needed.

Now in many industries women’s exceed men both in salary and in abilities. However, many women still long for a career at home where they can be there for their family and to raise their kids.
